About

Jing Kao-Beserve loves making lasting images of people at their happiest moments – whether it’s the tender connection between mother and newborn, the exhilaration when the couple is pronounced as married, the fleeting relaxed expression of the busy CEO, or the joyous expressions of the kids and puppy as they play together.

Clients always remark on Jing’s calm, assertive energy and her ability to connect with her photo subjects while also bringing a timeless artistry to her photography.  Over the years she has built a loyal client base and an extensive portfolio of families and companies.  Some clients have included the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, Seneca College, CBRE, Canada Protection Plan, and Aphrodite Cooks.

Jing started out photographing weddings and portraits in 1999  and made the side-hustle a full-time occupation in 2006.  Since becoming a mother Jing has slowly shifted IMAJING away from the all-day weddings and focused more on corporate headshots, family portraits, and pet photography (Freckled Paw Collective).

When she isn’t busy shooting and editing, Jing is busy taking care of two girls aged 8 and 3, two dogs aged 10 and 3, two cats aged 14, and a husband.  She also volunteers as a board member of her child’s nursery school, as a Girl Guide leader, and with Redemption Paws dog rescue.
